Nutrition Course
Nutrition - Prepare nutritionally balanced food in a safe and hygenic manner (CHCCN3C)
This Nationally Recognised Training is recommended for childcare cooks, the course covers topics such as:
- The nutritional requirements of children;
- Menu planning;
- Accommodating individual food preferences; and
- Preparation and storage of food.
The course can be completed by either attending a 1 day course at Gowrie or by external studies. For more information, please contact the office.
Statement of Attainment
On satisfactory completion of all aspects of the training, and if deemed competent, you will recieve a statement of of attainment for Prepare nutritionally balanced food in a safe and hygienic Manner (CHCCN3C), which meets the standards for licensing and accreditation.
