Application Process
What happens when you apply?
Applications are assessed against the requirements stated in the job description. Successful applications will be invited to attend an interview.
Interview Panel
The interview panel will consist of 2 or more Gowrie employees. Normally these employees will include the line manager for the position and/or the Human Resources Officer.
What will I be asked at an interview?
The interview questions will be structured, open questions, based around the requirements of the job description. Expect that some behavioural questions will be asked.
When will I find out if I was successful?
Both those applicants who were successful and unsuccessful will be contacted with the outcome, ideally within 7 working days of the interview date.
References
The Gowrie has a policy of conducting reference checks for all positions and will request your permission to contact your stated referees while you are at the interview.
Proof of Qualification
If you are the successful applicant we will ask you to provide proof of the qualifications stated in your application.
Police Certificate and Working with Children Checks
All employees of the Gowrie are required to gain a National Police Certificate before commencing employment. Those employees who are working with children are required to obtain a Working with Children Check on or before your first day.
